A love when people take cartoons to the real world.
Beautifully done with an oh-so-appropriate title.
‘Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake’ Comic Miniseries Coming in January from Boom! Studios
How great is this going to be? Comics Alliance is making the official announcement “Boom! Studios is launching a fully gender-swapped Adventure Time With Fionna & Cake six-issue miniseries.” The best part? Issue #1 is being written and illustrated by the show’s very own Natasha Allegri. If you can stand the three-month wait you’re a better person than any of us is.

Really, REALLY excited for this.
Perhaps overly excited. Seriously.
Can’t wait to see what Marshall Lee finally has to say!

Why Adventure Time Is the Coolest Show on TV Right Now
E Online said it (actually Marcus Michalik), not us. -Fred
If you’re able to hear a turn of phrase as wickedly twisted and strange as “purple Valley Girl-accented space cloud obsessed with her hot body” or “rainbow-colored unicorn that’s fluent in Korean” without raising at least one eyebrow, then you’re already a fan of Cartoon Network’s wildly subversive breakout animated hit, Adventure Time.
Spare yourself the embarrassment of making up an elaborate backstory about children you don’t actually have—you’re hardly the only grown-up watching.
After being on the air for a little more than two years, Adventure Time has amassed a super-passionate fan base of kids and adults—including loads of famous ones—who are drawn to the show’s eye-popping visuals, imaginative storytelling and off-kilter humor. Inspired by creator Pendleton Ward’s childhood obsession with Dungeons & Dragons, the show centers around Finn, an ever-courageous hero in the throes of adolescence, and his best friend Jake, an elasticized, shapeshifting dog, as they traverse the Land of Ooo and quench their undying thirst for quests and adventure.

FOOD! GLORIOUS FOOD!
So, Creative Catering did a lunch taste testing in our office today. This entire morning was a giant struggle of where to eat lunch because some of my lunch buddies are out of the office today and it’s so nice out. Thankfully that challenge was averted with today’s very special event.
Everything was so delicious, including the short ribs and salmon. I pretty much was a glutton beyond belief.

Anyway, if you need catering in NYC check out their website and place an order. They come highly recommended.
100th Episode Recorded
Guess which cartoon series just celebrated the recording of its 100th episode? That’s right! Beverly Hills Teens. Here’s the cast and crew on Tuesday whooping it up over a chunky fruit platter. There was cake, also. Photos by Cartoon Network’s James Utt.
Congratulations to everyone, one and all.
This show is absolutely amazing. Big Congrats to the creators and everyone a part of this wonderful show.

Just letting you know that sometimes when it’s late at night I stay up to watch episodes of Adventure Time via Free On Demand while the rest of my house sleeps.
It’s my favorite way to spend my personal time… ya know, with cartoon characters who understand my sense of humor completely.
